The Origin of This Study
(Luke / Acts 2020)
This Luke–Acts Bible study was written and recorded
during one of the most painful seasons of my life.
Between 2020 and 2022, I was living through
profound personal, relational, and spiritual suffering.

Reading Scripture — which had once been a place of refuge -- became deeply painful. At the time, I was Protestant, and the way I was receiving and engaging God’s Word no longer brought consolation. Eventually, I could not continue.
Because of this, the study was never fully completed. What exists today is shared as a record of faith lived under suffering, and as part of the early foundation of Inner Reformation. |
How the Journey
Continues to Unfold
In the years since beginning this study,
my relationship with Scripture has changed 💛
my relationship with Scripture has changed 💛
Coming into the Catholic Church has allowed me to receive the Word of God differently --
within the sacramental life of the Church, the rhythm of the liturgy,
and a tradition that holds suffering, mystery, and time with reverence.
Because of this, I now hold hope — gently and without forcing --
that this study may continue to grow in time 🙂
